I received a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox loaner for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
As a food blogger, attending the Food Truck Mash-up® at the Meadowlands was in my bucket list; For the first time, my family and I decided to take a trip to this particular food truck event that gathers trucks from New Jersey and Philadelphia for a live mash-up between these two cities.
As soon as we arrived at the Meadowlands’ parking lot in the 2018 Chevy Equinox we could hear the music blasting from the festival…we knew it was going to be fun! Once in there, we were able to enjoy many of the food from the different vendors– from all American burgers and fries to extreme shakes and donuts, and of course delicious Latin food. The festival also has live entertainment for the whole family.
Although we tried bites from a few vendors, these were our favorite:
Mofongo with Pernil from el Lechon de Negron
Cookies n’ Cream shake and donut from Carnivale Milkshake and Donut Bar
Mini donuts from Glazed and Confused
And Ice cream from Elemen7ts, that we decided to eat sitting in the back of the comfortable 2018 Chevy Equinox as we were tired from all the walking.
Can you tell we love sweets? 🙂
Thank God for our friends at Chevrolet we had a smooth ride home after that food coma. This car is so comfortable, stylish and safe. Designed with all your needs in mind the 2018 Equinox is spacious enough to accommodate the family, plus it is very convenient and stylish, the hands-free gesture liftgate opens with foot motion and it has safety technologies that help prevent and detect potential hazards on the road. My favorite feature is the Rear Park Assist which senses stationary objects and warns you if you are to close. Learn more about it here.
I can’t wait for next year mash-up… hopefully, we get to drive the Chevy Equinox again 🙂
Happy Summer!
