When it comes to preparing smoothies I don’t like to get complicated; I like an easy-yet-filling recipe but also tasty and packed with good stuffs.
My husband loves smoothies, in fact, this is a recipe base on one that he created. He likes peanut butter, especially Jif™ Creamy Peanut Butter because it’s the perfect combination of creamy and the fresh-peanut taste that he loves. Plus, Jif is Gluten free which makes it perfect to share with the whole family, it has 7g of protein and is not made with genetically modified ingredients.
Another ingredient that we really love in our smoothies is Dannon Vanilla All Natural Lowfat Yogurt or Dannon Plain yogurt, which is made with only natural ingredients and is delicious to enjoy by itself, with toppings, or as a cooking substitute for many of our recipes…like this smoothie!
I’m adding fresh Bananas and Chia seeds as well for extra nutrients. This smoothie is so yummy!
The good thing about this recipe is that you can find all the ingredients at your local Walmart.
This is what I used for my smoothie:
Banana, Jif™ Peanut Butter, Dannon Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt, Chia Seeds, milk and Ice cubes.
