We love pick-your-own farms; We get to pick our own fruits and veggies, kids learn where food comes from, plus it’s a great way to spend time with the family. Every year, we try to visit local farms to pick all kinds of fresh produce, like fresh strawberries during the summer or pumpkins and apples during autumn. This year we’ve visited one of our local farms to pick fresh peaches for the first time. There were so many peaches and although the weather was extremely hot, we had a great time.
My daughter, niece and nephew had a great time! and they got to see the animals at the petting zoo.
What would you do with all those peaches?
Well, you can make peach cobbler;
You can make peach sangria for the adults;
Or make a fruit punch for the whole family and add the fresh peaches!
For this fruit punch recipe I added the fresh peaches but you can certainly add any fresh fruit that you like.
Fruit Punch

Preparation: In a large pitcher, combine the pineapple juice with the mango and peach nectar. Add the sliced peaches and let it chill for an hour. Serve with ice.
I can not believe we’re in mid-August. Summer will end soon! Get out with your family and enjoy the rest of it.
