Hola! I haven’t been able to post lately, but I have a good excuse for that; We bought a house! and I am beyond thrilled. I can’t wait to share pictures throughout the whole process of renovation…but that would be another post.
Anyway, in the midst of all the craziness due to the process of moving; I was invited to a great event hosted by Nestlé® Pure Life® Water and Butterfinger® chocolate in New York City and I just couldn’t say no. I needed a break. Plus, an event where chocolate is the main star, Count Me In!
Nestlé® Pure Life® Water and Butterfinger® chocolate Teamed up with Evette Rios, Host of CBS’ Recipe Rehab, to bring an exclusive event full of delicious treats made with chocolate. Also, a preview at the new 2016 Nestlé® Pure Life® Limited Edition “Share-A-Scare™” Halloween bottles.
All the attendees enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and even a Halloween treat demonstration by Evette Rios with the help of my mini me!
Evette Rios shared her recipe for Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cup Mini Spiders with us, and as a treat to my readers I’m sharing this easy recipe with you!
Butterfinger® Peanut Butter Cup Mini Spiders-By Evette Rios
Makes: 12 Cookies
- 12 oz package, Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cup Minis
- 12 oz package Nestlé TOLL HOUSE® premiere White Morsels
- 1 dozen Snicker doodle or peanut butter cookies.
- Approximately 24 chocolate-covered pretzels
- Icing (as needed)
- Peanut Butter (as needed)
Make the Spiders:
Use a smidge of peanut butter to glue two white chocolate chips to Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cup Mini and dot them with icing to create spider “eyes”
Break off pretzel parts to create “legs” (4 on each side)
Using a dollop of peanut butter, spread onto one edge of the cookie. Place spider body on top, and using a little more peanut butter, glue pretzel legs to the spider body.
Draw a spider web on the other side of cookie using icing.
Repeat until all cookies are assembled.
We connected with other bloggers and foodies, previewed what’s to come this Halloween season and most of all, had a great time.
How are you celebrating Halloween this year? Share!
Xo,
Johanny
