My 11 year old daughter is into science; She loves to experiment and lately she has been creating homemade slime. It can be a messy hobby , but I surely want her to explore and be as creative as possible… even if it takes for me to deal with sticky slime every day.
Next month she will be presenting a science project at her school, so when we received and invitation from Momtrends to attend and learn about a new exhibition at Liberty Science Center we just couldn’t say no. This was the perfect opportunity for my mini-me to learn more about science!
The team from Momtrends invited us to experiment the new “MythBuster: The Explosive Exhibition” which will be at the LSC now through September 4 2017. In addition, we had the opportunity to mingle with other bloggers and their families, plus we enjoyed a delicious lunch before heading out to check the live MythBuster show. Guess what? The night before, a clip from the show was filmed at Liberty Science Center!
Based on the popular television show, MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition, gives fans of all ages a chance to be myth busters! After enjoying a live demonstration we had the opportunity to walk around the exhibit, interact and learn more about the myths that have been either plausible, confirmed or busted.
After learning and interacting around the exhibit, we were able to hang out at Liberty Science Center for the rest of the afternoon. We got to see “Illusion: Nothing Is As It seems” a new and exciting exhibit that makes you question the way we perceive and see things around us. The Illusion exhibit will be at Liberty Science Center now through August 27, 2017. Did I tell you it is included with the general admission tickets? yes, it is!
We had so much fun!
Can’t wait to go back to Liberty Science Center but for now I will leave you with this pictures of my adventurous little scientist’s snack.
Do you like Liberty Science Center? Share with us!
XO,
Johanny

I bet thanks to all that science focused fun she’ll be even more confident when she presents her project!
