This oven-baked lemon chicken is the perfect complement for rice, pasta and even salads!
Hi y’all! I wrote this post for oven-baked lemon chicken back in 2016 and as I was reading it today I felt that some of the pictures didn’t do any justice–So here I am again, just adding some more colorful and mouth-watering photos 🙂
I adapted this recipe many years ago from an old cookbook; I remember I was looking for different ways to cook chicken and I found what it seemed like an easy and tasty recipe–even though the book didn’t have any photos. Since then, this oven-baked chicken has become one of my family’s favorite.
Oven-baked lemon chicken is very similar to chicken piccata. The thin slices of chicken breast are coated in a mixture of egg, milk, garlic, salt and pepper, bread crumbs and then cooked in a wine and lemon sauce.
Follow this steps:
Bake and enjoy!
